Being in a good health all the time can be a huge challenge, especially if you don’t have the energy or the time. But there are small changes you can apply to your lifestyle where you can improve your well-being and still be lazy. make little changes in your Eating styles, exercise just a bit more, and make hardly any small changes to your way of living. All this to improve your health and overall well-being without making great changes to your day-to-day life.

METHOD 1 : Add these small changes in your eating habits

1. Add in healthy food.

Buy those delicious cookies and cakes, but also make an attempt to buy fresh fruits for smoothies and sprouted grains for snacks time, too. Over time, try to eat 30% of your cookies and cakes and 70% of the healthy snacks in a day. However this ratio can be altered after regular practice of healthy eating, healthy snacks and foods been occupying greater proportion.

2. Eat your feeds with your nondominant hand.

If you’re right-handed individual, put your spoon in your left hand at meals. Or simply eat using your left hand. Using your nondominant hand makes you eat more slowly. Stop eating when your tummy is full, but not bloated. By eating more slowly you’ll probably consume less food.

Drink atleast one glass of water prior to every meal. Water will fill your stomach up a little bit, so you won’t binge eat at your next feed. Try to inculcate a habit of keeping a water bottle near you at all times, whether you’re at home or on the outdoors.[3]

3. Drink coffee.

Research shows that people who drinks 3-5 cups of coffee a day are less prone to show early symptoms of heart disease and/or stroke. Studies have also found that, almost every commercial fat-burning supplement consists a Caffeine — and for good reason. It’s one of the few natural substances that is proven to help fat burning.

Several studies also show that caffeine can accelerate your metabolic rate by 3–11% . Thus can drastically improve your physical performance.

Other studies demonstrated that caffeine can significantly increase fat burning by as much as 10% in obese people and 29% in lean individuals. So guys Don’t skip your morning cup of coffee.

4. Eat on smaller plates.

People who eat on smaller dishes end up eating smaller amount of foods. Your brain will interpret that you’ve eaten more than you have. This is a japanese concept of eating, where they always have their meals in smaller plates. They believe in eating uptill the stomach fills to 80%, thus reducing their food intake. Hence making them the fittest and longer living human beings on the earth, average age been 90 years.

5. Eat spicy foods.

Spicy foods may help to reduce your appetite. Go for some extra chili peppers, or green chillies . Add it to your food for enhancing your flavor and a health boost! However people with gastric troubles like gastritis, acidity, heartburn or acidic reflux, should skip this step.

METHOD 2: EXERCISING

1. Walk for about two minutes every hour.

Just two minutes. and you can do this being anywhere! If you are at home and don’t have enough space, You can even walk in circles around your bed or sofa. You can walk every hourly while watching TV or writing an assignment. You can always have 2 minutes for yourself, no matter how busy your schedule is. Walking will aid burning extra calories that would have been accumulated as fat, had you remained sitting.

2. Walk backwards

Walking backwards, even in short fractions, may have numerous health benefits. We never walk backwards in our day-to-day life. Thus we use same muscles for walking forward, over an over again. Walking backwards will make work different muscles than walking forwards. While walking backwards make sure you look behind. This will lower the risk of falls and will make your neck exercise and stretch little more. This will thus aid to your health, especially if you are a desk job worker who spends most of the hours sitting and straining the neck.

3. Get your metabolism started early.

If you have so many things to do in your list, such as laundry, sweeping, or other household chores, do them earlier rather than later. This will kickstart your metabolism at its earliest.

4. Stand instead of sit.

You can still continue playing your favorite video games or watch TV, but always try to stand for at least half of the time you’re spending while doing so. Surprisingly, You can burn up to 750 more calories per week if you stand for total of 3 hours a day!

METHOD 3 : Making Other Healthy Choices

1 Hit the snooze button.

Receiving plenty of sleep boosts your immune system, decreases the risk of depression, stress and inflammation. Plenty of sleep also helps to reduce your weight. It also helps improve your mood, thus making sure you’re taking care of your mental health as well.

2. Watch a funny video during work.

Take a break from your normal work routine to watch anything that you like. Make sure to watch some funny stuffs instead of other varieties. This will help you to have more energy and be happier in the long run! This will improve both your physical and mental performance.

3. Hang out with your friends.

Spending quality time with friends and/or family decreases your stress levels and could help prevent inflammation. Also visiting places that provides a sense of calmness like beaches will help. Thus keeping your blood pressure and heart rate down. Even if you’re exhausted from work or school, try finding time to hang out with a friend on weeknights, too. Trust me It’s healthy!

4. Spend time with your loved ones.

You get the “love hormone,” oxytocin, by just looking at your loved one’s face. If you have a pet at home, spend some quality time with them and get a boost of happiness in return.

5. Play more active games.

Instead of playing games that just require sitting, like PlayStation, try playing a more active outdoor games, like tennis, football, etc even if you aren’t good at playing. If you are dance lover, cheers! Lock yourself in a room, play the music, and here you go. Make this your daily routine and see the magic.

6. Park far away.

Even if you drive to get fast food, park at the far end of the parking lot. This will make you have a nice walk. As you already know, Walking will aid burning few extra calories and can add to your exercise routine even a little bit.
