Position – Knowledge Analyst

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Knowledge Analyst (KA) within BCG’s Health care Practice Area (HCPA), you will work in a growing global team, providing industry expertise and insights, working together with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets and expert advisory.

In addition, you will support with guidance from senior colleagues, your topic/sector in developing intellectual property & knowledge assets and managing content on internal BCG websites, ensuring availability of the latest, high-quality content.

You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts of the biopharma, MedTech, and provider and payer services business, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts.

BCG’s Health Care practice area (HCPA) comprises of three sectors Biopharma, MedTech, and Payers and Providers. We are looking for a Knowledge Analyst (KA) to join our growing HCPA team in India, based out of the New Delhi (Gurgaon) Office.

The role Is primarily focused on providing research and analytical support to support the product portfolio of the HCPA.

This includes creating databases, benchmarks, and other cases enabling products and tools Other sector support activities include the writing and maintenance of industry overview materials, credentials decks, and the codification and packaging of BCG’s knowledge assets

YOU’RE GOOD AT

• Build & update new topic/sector-related knowledge products (e.g., benchmarking, primary market sizing, usage of practice proprietary tools)

• Applying health care expertise when contributing to building and deploying a product/tool/data, taking different client contexts into account

• Collect, synthesize and analyze case team learnings & inputs into BCG knowledge repository (in form of vignettes, credentials, etc.)

• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working

• Communicating with senior stakeholders, being credible and proactive

• Framing, structuring, and sharing intellectual property, with the ability to write clearly and concisely

• Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment

• Flexibility and bring a curious and creative mindset, open for new things, and able to propose innovative ideas

• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity

• Interacting with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience required

• 1+ years of relevant experience in biopharma and MedTech

• Masters or Bachelors degree in the healthcare-related fields

• Advanced MS PowerPoint and excel skills and basic to advanced expertise of BI tools such as Alteryx and visualization platforms like tableau

• Experience in working across databases such as ADIS R&D Insights, IMS Prognosis, and Evaluate Pharma

• Effective written & verbal communication skills

• Strong work ethic & service-mentality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks

• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels

• Autonomous, tolerance to ambiguity, self-motivator

• Fluency in English YOU’LL WORK WITH As a Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda, and building and deploying leading-edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

BCG’s Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function, and complex research and analysis of market information.

KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients
