Job Description:
Wockhardt Hospitals is seeking an experienced and dedicated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating physical conditions in children. You will develop individualized treatment plans, conduct therapeutic exercises, and use complex mobilization techniques to improve the patients’ mobility and quality of life. This role requires expertise in paediatric care and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions to identify movement limitations and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address the specific needs of paediatric patients.
- Perform complex mobilization techniques and therapeutic exercises to improve physical function and mobility.
- Assist trauma patients with recovery, focusing on re-learning essential motor skills such as walking.
- Educate patients, their families, and the community on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
- Collaborate with doctors and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and make appropriate referrals.
- Plan and organize physiotherapy and fitness programs that align with patients’ recovery goals.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with specialization in Paediatrics.
- Proven experience as a Paediatric Physiotherapist, with a strong knowledge of paediatric musculoskeletal conditions and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and engage patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and manage a diverse patient caseload.
