Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Assess patients’ physical conditions and identify areas requiring treatment at Apex Hospitals.
- Diagnosis & Treatment: Diagnose physical impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities, and create tailored treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Exercises: Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, mobility, and function.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on the rehabilitation process and how to maintain physical health at Apex Hospitals.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Manual Therapy: Provide manual therapy, including massages, joint mobilization, and other hands-on techniques.
- Use of Equipment: Utilize physiotherapy equipment effectively to support patient treatment and rehabilitation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Follow-Up Care: Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and support their continued recovery post-treatment.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) is mandatory for employment at Apex Hospitals.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team at Apex Hospitals.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and motivate them throughout the treatment process.
- Technical Proficiency: Competency in using physiotherapy techniques, equipment, and software for patient management.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans.
